July 3, 2015, was a memorable data for McDavid because on that date signed a three-year three-year entry-level contract with the Edmonton Oilers. He debuted on October 8, 2015, but unfortunately, the whole team lost their match against St. Louis Blues. The most famous goaltender Kari Lehtonen could not solve the attacking skills of David and he manages to score his first goal against Dallas Stars.
